Broadband contract ending? Do this before you renew
The first renewal price is a starting point, not a decision. Spend ten minutes checking what you use and what the whole new contract will cost.

The simple checklist
Do these in order
- Find your contract end date and any early-exit charge.
- Check the speed you actually need—not just the biggest number advertised.
- Compare the full contract cost, including setup fees and mid-contract price changes.
- Check whether your landline, TV bundle or provider email address will be affected.
- Ask the retention team to beat your best comparable offer. If they cannot, switch.
